Hmmm. Whenever Harry expresses interest in a Fair Haven beauty, Tom tries to dissuade him. Maggie's taken. Her sister has wooden teeth - and Tom won't let Harry change the program. But the women of Voyager (Janeway, Seven) find love on the holodeck. Tom's set it up so that Harry can't have any of the holo-babes, and all the real women are falling for holo-studs. Tom and Harry survey the damage. It'll take them six weeks to rebuild Fair Haven.
Guess they're going to be spending a lot of time together. |
The main storyline of this episode - a girl and her Inflate-A-Date - wasn't very interesting. But who cares, the P/K was lovely. For that, I'm willing to forgive a lot.
Tom has a new toy, and once again, B'Elanna's out the airlock. At least, we see her only in one brief scene in this episode.
Harry, of course, is always invited to play with Tom's new toys.
The Paris-Kim friendship infused this episode, even though it wasn't the main focus. Tom and Harry touched each other, teased each other, smiled warmly into each other's eyes, and seemed to be spending just about every spare moment they had together. And Tom was so sweetly protective of Harry: saving him from Maggie's beau, not letting the Doc bet against Harry, tending him in sickbay after the brawl. Awwww. Harry really does bring out the best in Tom.
