Geez, Harry. Sit any closer and you'll be sitting in his lap!

Harry is bitterly disappointed that there's no letter for him at the lunchtime mail call:

"Aren't you going to eat your lunch?"

"I'm not hungry."

"You shouldn't get your hopes up, Harry. No hopes, no disappointments."

"I'm not you."

Harry then storms out of the mess hall in a huff, leaving Tom to his lunch. One of the rare occasions where we see Harry actually annoyed with Tom.
B'Elanna gives a delighted Harry his letter from home. It's from his parents, we note, not from Libby. In fact, we really haven't heard much about Libby since "Non Sequitur."
Tom finds out the letter from his father was lost.

This was really a nice episode for B'Elanna. She suffered worse from Chakotay's letter than he did. She actually made Tom realize that his problems are small stuff compared to hers. And she was utterly charming trying to comfort poor Harry.
