This section is about fandom on the Internet in general, and so only marginally related to the rest of my Web site. But I've gotten several e-mails asking about how I lost my original domain name, so I decided to put the story here, for those who are curious. I also put up an account of another pothole I hit on the information superhighway, and may add more later, in hopes that they will be of help to others. Call it Intermediate Internet: the kind of trouble you can run into even after you've learned to never give anyone your password, that there's no such virus as Good Times, and that Bill Gates will not give you money for forwarding e-mail.
