The Thaw

Not a whole lot of P/K in this episode, but I've gotten a lot of requests for it, since it has so many striking images of Harry.

Tom and Harry spend the evening in Harry's quarters. Tom is apparently willing to sit around listening to Harry practice clarinet. It must be true love.

Tom and Harry plot against Ensign Baytart, who doesn't appreciate Harry's playing as much as Tom does.

The boys exchange hot stares, supposedly because they're thinking about Sue Nicoletti. Yeah, right.

(And is it just me, or is Harry wearing an awful lot of lip gloss in this shot?)

Tom and Harry at a meeting.
Harry bondage! And pink shackles, no less.
More Harry bondage. My, what slim hips he has.
Harry looking ruffled and angry. And about 14 years old. :-)
Meanwhile, back on Voyager, Tom urges caution. He's worried Harry might be harmed.

Fear tries to terrorize Harry by changing him first into an old man, then into a baby. (Wonder how many parents rushed out to get their babies Starfleet uniforms after watching this scene? :-)
Sigh. Those uniforms were so much tighter back in the second season.
Hey, back off, Lenny! That's Tom's property you're groping. Stick to Squiggy.

Harry reacts to seeing one his fellow hostages executed.

This episode was a tad silly. Harry Kim kidnapped and tortured by a clown? A clown played by Michael McKean, no less! (Lenny from Laverne and Shirley.) But we did find out some interesting things about Harry (he's Janeway's pet, he's afraid of hospitals). The opening scene, with Tom keeping Harry company while he practices, was charming, and the ending, with Fear fading slowly to black, was fantastic. Besides, Harry is adorable when he's disheveled and grumpy. All in all, I liked it.

Here are more images from "The Thaw" (mostly of Harry).
